I was introduced to Dr. Kumar by Pratibha at Texas Gaushala. My daughter, 5 years old at the time, had been suffering for one of the worst cases of eczema (full body rashes), mild vitiligo, and allergies. She was unable to attend school or even go outside without experiencing allergy. My experience with Antin.
I began suffering with Proctitis in April, 2011. I had experienced it about 12 years ago, but it had resolved quite rapidly with a cortisone treatment in the evenings. This time it simply got worse and worse, with much blood, gas, pain, bloating, and a need to be close to a bathroom right after I ate. These symptoms continued for three months, while I tried many different forms of treatment. I underwent a Colonoscopy at the end of April, which confirmed the diagnosis. I tried Chinese medicine and herbs, acupuncture, cortisone, muscle resistance testing and supplementation, dietary restrictions. For three months, nothing seemed to be helping.
I consulted with Dr. Kumar in July, and began taking Antin twice a day. In addition I eliminated many of the other supplements I was taking, and began eating according to the Specific Carbohydrate Diet. Almost immediately the pain and bleeding diminished considerably, and I felt at least 85% better within the first week. It has now been almost two months of this new regime, and in the past two weeks I have seen another dramatic improvement, with symptoms almost completely resolved. Presently I am not willing to stop the Antin or the Specific Carbohydrate Diet to see which contributes more to my recovery. I can only say that this protocol has worked very well for me, and I will continue on it for the next few months to stabilize my condition.
